For the moment, this family tree will start with this sophisticated looking, Frederick Bradley Foster and Edith Tertia Grieve (middle couple) who came to Canada from Scotland around 1905. By clicking on each of them in the Photo, you will be shown some images of their early lives and life in Canada, then come back here and see the line of decendants they started. For the only known photo of them with their Grandchildren, follow this link. The Foster's lived in Carmyle, Glasgow and he had a career with Courtaulds Textile Company, both in Britain and Montreal Canada. Before living in Scotland, the family came from Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England. Doncaster was the site of a Roman Fort built in the 1st century AD. The fort was called Danum.
