Paulene Fay Sinclair born in Otahuhu, New Zealand on 16 October, 1943.  Eldest daughter of Aerial H. Johnson and John D. Sinclair.  Educated and worked in New Zealand until travelling to Australia in 1965 where she met Harry B. Foster.  Together they travelled and worked in Australia before voyaging to Italy via Singapore, Cylon, Aden and Eygpt. Working in London for awhile, finally returning to Ottawa and marrying on 30 June, 1967 the 100th anniversary of Canadian Confederation.

Worked at the offices of the New Zealand High Commission, Canadian Red Cross Society, Agricultural Institute of Canada and the Royal Ottawa Hospital until the birth of our son John on July 18, 1983.   After taking care of John and helping build a house returned to work at Aylmer Elementary School and Philemon Wright High School until retiring in 2004.  Happily retired with Harry, in the home we built in 1982 in Pontiac Quebec.
